if u read they are having server problems. they had 2 crash a month ago .. another just went down .. giveum a break .. they are trying to restore this free site as quickly as they can .. if u want to pitch in and help with costs im sure they wont gripe ..........if not just sit there quietly til its back up

you know I almost tried to get worked up on a number of points you presented starting this thread. But for the life of me I can't because one thing keeps popping into mind.

You haven't subscribed, you will not subscribe and you just want to suck up bandwidth even if only a little at a time. Thing is, like cheese cloth, all the little pieces of bandwidth going out to you drain the bandwidth away from those of us who do support the site.

Then you want to complain?

well I can't seem to care in the least about this thread or it's content. it is the same thread with a different topic typed in on a different date by a different person but it is still exactly the same as all the others who only want to download and complain it they can't.

Web sites sometimes have problems. Like server crashes, etc. It doesn't last forever. There are worse tragedies in the world. It's not like you're out of pocket. As you noted, there are other skin sites you can download from so feel free to use their bandwidth.

I've never posted before but what milktm said has prompted me to. Instead of whining about your inconvenience because the server went down and the database got lost, you should be supporting all the skinners who have to now reupload their skins. And, none of it is the fault of Wincustomize. I think people should stop and think about other people instead of themselves. Wincustomize and the skinners are the real 'victims' here. People like me who browse and download are merely inconvenienced. And for that I want to say thank you to Wincustomize and all the terrific skinners out there for their patience and hard work. I do appreciate it.

Just think of all the bandwith that could be saved if only people that payed for subscriptions. (like me and many others) If you haven't payed for a subscription then you have no room to complain. This site made i'm guessing a little over $11,970 from the subscription drive. Even that is not enough to replace the servers that have crashed.

Those of us who do support Wincutomize actually care about the current situation. What can you do to help besides complain about not being able to download for free > Where is your contribution?? Have you subscribed, uploaded any skins?? Probably not, so take your opinion with you when freeload off another site

I'm gonna charge s45tr and milktm for the download and use of any of my skins, and then they will see how expensive it can be.

Be gone and search for those 'free' sites that will make your life much happier.

BTW, if a person is gonna go to another site, what is the non-sense about announcing it??
