....I wanted to create a CURRENT thread where users can post their thoughts on how WinCustomize can improve (not that it isn't doing a SMASHING job now 
)...I think that if we all post our opinions, it will better the environment here...
And to start the thread:
1) I think skin rating should only be available to Users with level 4 or 5 and higher...allowing others with a lower user level to vote can make the rating system biased, especially because while User Level 5 skinners are well known and have proven to be kind and helpful to this community, some with Level 3 haven't, and can still be biased (and hence possibly immature) in the rating process.
2) Old skins should be retired, like maybe after a week with no downloads, or only a few downloads, the skin should be "retired" or deleted. This would create more storage space, and could reduce bandwidth.

so don't be afraid to post, as long as it's something that's not too controversial (like..."I think WinCustomize should DIE!" is not an acceptable request)
