You have misunderstood my post. The sales info i have gotten, as i mentioned, but when trying to get in contact with Promotions, via the attached link, the link do not work. So there is no way to contact them.

So what my post is all about is how do i get in contact with - [email protected] . A mail address that does not function.

That i want, because i have a question about the summer sale.

Ok. Well it is rather simple.

I got a promo in my mail saying it is Summer Sale on W.Blinds 11, one can get it for 14.99USD, that is about 160kr in Swedish currency, when pressing the attached link, i come to a site where it costs 210kr = c:a 20USD.

Where do i get the 14.99/160kr offer?

I'm afraid you don't, because that offer may vary a lot from country to country due to local taxes/VAT (and like in Norway & Sweden, moms). In Norway, the offer looks like the screenshot below and as you can see pretty similar to yours in Sweden because our currencies & taxes are almost equal. Still, a pretty good offer, I think, with about 70,- off  the full price.

I hope Stardock will consider changing the phrasing in those e-mails outside of US in the future, if it's not there already with some "small letters", because of the confusion to the differing prices like : "Prices may vary due to local VAT & taxes."

Full price is 280kr, summer sale price - 210kr, that is not even 30%. 

I am on a trial for W.Blinds 11 and will probably not buy it due to misleading info. Within the program one sees a lot of "skins" that can be downloaded. They are with background and everything in the pictures, but when downloading, there is no background, only skins for Windows different frames. So you only get half of what the picture promises and not the full visual experience. And looking for it at the site, is hopeless. There are several thousand of them and you can only jump 1 step at  time, beginning either in the end, or the beginning. If you quit, you have to begin all over. Useless search mechanism. It will take you a day to go from the beginning to the end, and you may not find it when your done. No, no, no. I am surprised they have not improved that since the last time i used W.Blinds and the site, 3 or 4 years ago.

If i can not get the full experience, i might as well be wthout it.

I believe, most of those free to download WB theme are without background. From Windowblinds product page, I can't recalled it ever mention that the themes come with wallpaper. Can you point me to those place you see that promote Windowblind theme come with wallpaper.

That is not entierly correct, although a lot of windowblinds do come with wallpapers. Retiredmaster has lots like "Flick" and "Pavonis", and many more, but they are not applied automatically so you will have to look in their skins folder located at C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Stardock\Windowblinds\NAMEOFSKIN. If it's not mentioned in the wb skins description or linked to, the wallpaper are usually not included.

This is nothing new, and has always been the case.

The skins on the homesite do not either come with a background, that is correct, but the download page for each skin, is almost always accompanied with a link, also, for downloding the visual background. When i used WB 10, i sometimes downloaded, and even bought, some skins, and they where shown with a background that was possible to download, also. This new feature would be progress if it was easy to find the background, since it is not, this is more annoying when you see a nice skin, and can not find a background, without, MAYBE, wading through the search function a whole day.

So, each skin visual in WB11, should be possible to get completely by downloading everything. Either separately, or, all together. Now, they are giving you the left hand glove, but not the right hand glove.

And again, not 70%, just 26-27-ish.

That looks correct as the sale for WindowBlinds is 25%

 

Yes i know. But someone mentioned 70%, as you can see in the thread. I wanted to correct that.

Can you point to where you have seeen that? The only one mentioning 70% is you, as far as I can see. I mentioned 70,- Norwegian kroner, and that's something completly different.
