How to change the inactive titlebar glyph images or color?

Hello, is there a way to change the inactive titlebar glyphs or color?

I created some very basic white glyphs for the (active?) titlebar (see screenshot). I would like to have black glyphs for the inactive titlebar, but don't see a way to do it. Maybe I'm just missing the option.

I see options for the Active/Inactive backgrounds, but not the glyphs themselves.

Hello,
You will need to turn on the Advance edit option. The option should be available. Review the screenshot below.

Hi Basj, I've looked through the advanced options, but don't see the right selector.

I've tried all of these below with no success. I'm unclear on what BackgroundBlock, BackgroundBlockColoured and White.100 are for.

  • Button.InactiveBackground
  • Button.InactiveCloseBackground
  • Button.Inactive(Close|Minimize|Restore)BackgroundBlock
  • Button.Inactive(Minimize|Restore)BackgroundBlockColoured
  • Glyph.(Close|Max|Min|Restore)ButtonWhite.100

I don't see any options for Button.Inactive = MAXIMIZE.

Any chance you can point me in the right direction or send me to the docs that describe the advanced seelectors?

You should be able to scroll down for glyph for buttons.

Nope, those Glyph.* buttons apply to both active and inactive.

Please point me to some docs that describe the advanced options -- or ask someone who knows the answer to my question.

Hello,

If you looking for how to change the inactive glyph. Please try to look at those file that I pointed to. For example, below is a sample from WarpOS (glyph-max.png). And, there you see there are 4 states. First is Normal State. Second is Hover. Third is press. The last one is inactive.  Unless I misunderstand your question from the very beginning, you just need to change the forth frame.

The last glyph is disabled, not inactive. Take a look at the screenshot in my original post and note that I want to change they glyphs for inactive titlebars.

Each order I placed promised 30 days of support. Was that not true? Conditional? If so, what are the conditions of this free support?

But, as additional note. My personal though on it. It might be that Curtains just don't have that skinning capabilities. Do know that Curtains was introduce to have something that more compatible with Windows 10 comparing to Windowblinds 10. To have more compatibilities, Major part that can be done in Windowblinds 10 not available in Curtains.

Curtains skins have to match what the operating system supports for title bar buttons which limits things.  If a glyph option is not provided that is because the OS does not natively support it.

Products like WindowBlinds have far greater flexibility as they are in complete control.  Hence the control over placement, size etc which curtains simply cannot offer.

There are white and dark versions of some sections because the OS will automatically pick the right version depending on dark mode choices and accent colour.
