Why do I have to keep reactivating my software every week?

Between a week and a month I have to keep reactivating my app using the key and my email. This is extremely annoying and getting to where I'm thinking about not renewing. YTF is it even a subscription anyway? It's not that good.

Please be specific so that Support assistants can help you. Which software, and where did you purchase it, EPIC, Steam or Stardock?

So I'm posting in the Object Desktop forum so that would be the software. And every other app in the suite. It keeps asking for activation when it's already activated. I've activated it at least 10 times now on the same sub. And even more annoying, I have to go in and activate every single app in the suite instead of just the Object Desktop app. This is terrible design. And the more I think about it, the sub thing on this is absurd. Don't worry about replying. I'm unsubscribing. I've paid an absurd amount already for what should be a $20 app.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, if you're referring to Object Desktop and you need to reactivate all software under Object Desktop, every week, it might be there is an security app running in your system that keep deleting all those "license.sig" activation files every week. It is best to set that app to ignore or whitelist the "license.sig" file from that application. Those files should be within individual product inside "%ProgramData%\Stardock\"

Thanks
Basj,

'I've paid an absurd amount already' - You don't even get a coffee anymore in most places for what You pay monthly for OD.

It's funny how nobody else is having this problem. That would suggest the problem has something to do with your computer and how you have it setup, not Stardock.

Funny how the problem is only with this app and not the other 200 on my system. :|

Did you "whitelist" license.sig? Did the problem recurr?

Unfortunately some 'automatic cleaner' tools which some people use wipe out files they think are not important.

I suspect thats what is happening here.
