Multiplicity won't work after install

I had been using the trial version of Multiplicity, and decided to buy the $19.99 version after only 4 days.  It had been working fine in the trial.  Now that I own it, I can't connect my secondary computer.  In the trial, there was a KVM tab below the Seamless tab.  There isn't one now.  Is that not there on the cheap version?  I've turned off the firewall entirely.  No dice.

What do I have wrong?  Please help!

I see.  I don't quite see what it is that KM does, though.  Is there any use to it at all?

YES, of course. You can operate a 2nd machine with the same mouse and keyboard. Most practical example: You have a laptopn and a pc side by side on Your desk. No need to reach out to the laptop's keyboard and touchpad. Just use the keyboard and mouse of Your PC. You still have 2 screens available then.

Yes, but in the trial version, the laptop's display showed on the primary's monitor.  Now, I can see the pointer moving on the laptop, but I need to crane my neck to look over at the laptop.  That's harder than reaching for the laptop's keyboard!

So can I not get the laptop's screen to show on the PC's monitor, or is that only with the KVM level?  Just wanting to understand.  Not a problem.  I can upgrade if needed, but want to make sure I really NEED to.

Thanks so much!

You'll need KVM for that.

When I went to pay for the upgrade from KM to KVM, it requires payment of $31.99 + tax on top of the $19.99 + tax I already paid for KM.  That would be $51.98!  The advertised price of KVM is $39.99!  I need a discount or a refund (including tax) if I am to continue with the upgrade, otherwise it is not truth in advertising, is it?

Kindly advise.

Alright, I've opened a ticket.  Is there a way to check on the status of one's ticket?  I can't find it.

Thank you.
