Camera Scrolling

I may be one of the few people that do and you can make fun of me for it however, would it be possible to have the lock on scrolling added in as well as scrolling into wherever your mouse is pointing? I have played sins for so many years and its really hurting my enjoyment of the new game because I cant use the camera how I've always had it. Its so nice to be able to click on a unit or whatever it is and just scroll into it instead of the other option. Call me a boomer but its really hard to teach this old dog new tricks with this game in that regard.

We have that option available, it just isn't in the option screen yet. You can manually switch to the method you want by opening the settings file in "C:\Users\Blair\AppData\Local\sins2_pre_alpha\settings\settings.json" with notepad or something similar.

Change

"camera.is_zoom_to_cursor_enabled": true,"

to

"camera.is_zoom_to_cursor_enabled": false,

We'll make it available in-game at some point down the road.
