curtains on windows 11 22h2

as I understand curtains on windows 11 just change the title bar glyphs?(-oX) and/or titlebar color?

I'm satisfied with this behavior and i want to install curtains. How Am i going to do it?

when installer starts it stops with the warning that is not compatible with windows 11

BUT what it does it is still good for me, SO I want to install it,

how am i going to do this??? HELP STARDOCK...

I am afraid we actively block installation and running on Windows 11 as it does not do what it is advertised to do when working properly and we do not want customer confusion.

I unterstand BUT

I set compatibility mode to windows 8 to the setup file and installed curtains.

Now I have almost 50 skins bought from an artist and I'm using them to change window's

titlebar's glyphs (- ,O, X) together with windows settings to change foreground title bars colors

and together also with winaero tweaker to change backgound windows colors.

It is kind of cumbersome BUT WORKS! for the great majority of styles because there is a

5% (almost 1 in 20) that have the sideeffect to make the titlebat transparent and so are

useless.

I'm sorry John, but I think Neil already gave you an answer. No point in taking this any further.

Why not use Windowblinds?

Curtains is a great (and cheaper and lighter) alternative to those of us who don't want complete reskinning of Windows' GUI, just changes to parts of Windows' own theme like the title bar, taskbar, window shadows, etc.

I used to use WB on Windows 8. Later switched to Curtains for W10 cos it's a lot easier to use and less buggy (on my end). I'm now using WB on W11, tho I would switch to Curtains if it ever gets updated or some W11 equivalent.

I saw a beta of Curtains in my downloads and got it thinking the beta meant for windows 11.  I guess not.

I don't believe there are currently plans for a version for Windows 11.

I use WindowBlinds 10 and Curtains on Windows 10. But I' want to upgrade to Windows 11 and use WindowBlinds 11 and Curtains 11.
