WindowBlinds 10 no longer available for purchase?

I am a Win 10 user.  I have done demos for both WindowBlinds 10 and WindowBlinds 11.  I prefer WindowBlinds 10. But when I click on the link (in the program) for "Purchase Product Key" I am taken to the Stardock store, but all I am offered is to purchase WindowBlinds 11.

Is there any way for me to purchase a license for WindowBlinds 10?  I am not interested in WindowBlinds 11.

yes i downloaded supposedly version 11.03 did a purge and strted in safe nmode and deleted entire winowblinds folder before i installed the new one and mine still shows this...

I wouldn't *at all* mind the option to download the WB10 installer as a backup.

I have *NO* intention of switching to Windows 11 before I absolutely have to, in 2026 if not later...

From few skins I have, mostly my own, all skin that work on WB10 still work with WB11. With that said.

What main features WB11 have that WB10 don't.

  1. Start11 Windows 10 and Windows 11 style startpanel now skin-able.
  2. Better support for Dark and light theme.
  3. Support for High DPI capable skin.

How about this as a compromise:
Make the installer for WB10 current version available to us (as we've been repeatedly begging for here), and I'll purchase WB11 and take a chance on it... deal??

Okay, this entire thread apparently was a red herring... as @basj noted below, I *can* download the setup for WB10, from my products page...

I just went back and re-read the original post, and realized that they were wanting to *purchase* the previous version... I can certainly understand the company not wanting to sell (and implicitly continue to maintain) earlier versions...

So my comments here were completely misguided... sigh... sorry about that...

And thank you once again, @basj , for your patient responses and support!!

I do believe you can do the 30 days free trial. 30 days to test all your skin would be long enough, no?

Btw, I still see that I still can download WB10 if I need to.

Nevermind, as Emily Latella would say...

Heh... I can even download a copy of the WB5.5 installer!!  The only one I cannot get any longer is WB3.3, though I still have my registration codes for it, dating to 2002 ...

I have a hard copy of WB ....actually in a box...not sure what vintage...but it's for XP so relatively old.  I'm not sure what the earliest download I've kept...but it's likely to be pre 1.0 ...;)

Nah...February 2000 ...WB 11ZF looks like the oldest...unless there's something hiding in an old HD somewhere...;)

start11 screws up everything for me... it makes the start button disappear at random times on any skin u apply..and the only way to get it back is to restart ur pc.. it makes the show desktop button a transparent blurry image when u hover over it... its just a mess if ya ask me..

at first i thought it was windowblinds 11 that was the issue but turns out its start11 that causes the problems..
