Name set to "user" despite setting.json file change

My ingame name is set to "bruger", danish for "User", it may be related to epic doing some overrite when i first started it, is there a way to fix this?

PS: I saw another post mentioning the settings.json file in the C:\Users\"user"\Documents\sins2_pre_alpha\settings folder. but i already edited that to say "Swodah, but it doesn't seem to affect the game.

Are you using the TEST version?  For that version the location has been changed to C:\Users\"user"\AppData\Local\sins2_pre_alpha\settings.  It worked for me when I edited the file in that location.

Only saw the post for the other path and i thought that was the path for the test version.
