Hi Synth-

It seems like other users were able to resolve the issue by changing the wallpaper to a solid image the same color as the color you wish to use. We're surprised to see this one still occurring too but for sake of diagnosis, would you be able to create such a wallpaper and see if it resolves the issue?

In either event, again I'll request as well if you could enable advanced logging, reboot, and then submit an error log that could help us begin looking into the issue as well. (Regardless of whether the changing wallpaper to an image fixes it, as we'd like to fully resolve this.)

Also, I'm wondering if pressing F5, or logging off/on resolves the issue.

It happens less often when I use an image wallpaper, but I still get occasional black flickering/blinking. The black squares also seem to appear much less frequently now, if at all.

I also noticed another issue: I can't pull the desktop pages/screens from the edge properly. It feels like the mouse cursor is actually moving onto the next, unseen desktop/page instead of staying on the current one.

When this happens, I can move the mouse around on that invisible page, and it sometimes takes several drags toward the current screen before the cursor comes back.
