Anybody else having this problem?

Ever since I upgraded windowblinds a week or so ago, I've been getting this ever so lovely bug..

Whenever I restart my system, or explorer crashes and restarts for whatever reason. The skin I'm using will bug out. Lots of the images will go bad, and I will have to go in and reload the skin.

Does anyone else have this problem, and if so, have you figured out a way to fix it?

no, haven't had that happen.

But the version OS might be of some help if it is a know issue with say, 98, NT4, 2000 or XP

I experience sort of the same thing. Don't know what causes it though, but the startbar behaves weird on startup. The start-button image doesn't load properly and if fonts are included in the skin they are not activated on startup (i.e. Systronic.) I have to re-load the skin to make it work again. I use XP.

That's exactly what's happening to me Pixel Pirate.

Oh well probably a bug with the new version, but it's not really bad, just annoying, so I guess I'll live with it 'till it's fixed.

I get a "Wbload.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" prompt and I can't even use WindowBlinds now. I also get the Stardock Central Updates window with nothing in it to update. Is there any way to undo the upgrade and get back to a working version?

I started getting that several days ago also. Has your SkinStudio gone missing?

It's not you....it seems to have gone AWOL on some systems....there are any number of threads on this and we're still trying to figure it out.....where ever it is we'll find it sooner rather then later so hang in there

I think I've gotten back on my own. I reinstalled my old SDC, did NOT restart. This brought up everything that's there. Saw SkinStudio was listed but not installed. Installed it. Immeditally Archived it and then copy and pasted the folder EVERYWHERE, just in case. The whole SkinStudio folder. Then I restarted . It wasn't listed, but it was still in archives. When I hit OK to install from there it said it was already installed and lo and behold it is. I haven't installed the updated SDC yet, but I figure tomorrow will be fine. If all works out, even if it removes it, I should still be able to get to the file everywhere I pasted it. I'll let you know tomorrow . For better or worse.

That only took a week . I have no idea if that's the "right" thing to do or not, but that's what worked(so far) for me.
