Endless Exclamation Point on Map Blocks the Stardock

So there is currently a bug where sometimes when a unit is killed, the exclamation point that says "click this to watch the replay" will never go away. Normally this is a minor inconvience.

However, it gets worse when this occurs on the stardock itself. Now I can no longer click on the stardock to build (see right in the middle of the screenshot below). Thankfully I can do it through the stardock and starbases screen on the upper right, but its a terrible inconvenience.

If you have a savegame where this is reproducible it would help a lot if you uploaded it to a cloud service (DropBox, Google Drive, One Drive) and post a link here, so the developers can take a look at it.

Along this line I would love the map to allow us to add markers ourselves. All enemy(pirate/monster) bases should stay lit up once discovered. If not allow us to place a coordinate beacon to show the danger zone on our maps.  Just give us some symbols and allow us to place several of each symbol if desired to draw on the universe like a football playbook. An overlay that doesn't really interact.

I have reported this in Reply #9 in the Feedback Thread for version 1.0.343808a.  It includes the cause, a save and instructions on how to make it happen or not happen.

Being able to dismiss the <!> would be a nice feature..

This can be done with rally points.  I do this all the time.  I rename the rally point to show what is there.  It is not the best way, but it works.

Being able to dismiss it shouldn't be needed.  They normally vanish after about 4 turns.  It's the occasional bug that causes the problem.  See my Reply #3 above.

Well keep in mind, if the exclamation point is on the stardock, it blocks its use from the main screen....forcing the user to use a separate UI to keep building. Even if only for 4 turns, that is still a poor user experience.

Yes we have a bug in to fix this.
