Installation Issues on Xbox App

Unable to install purchased DLC

Does anyone have information on installation issues with Galactic Civilizations III on Xbox app for Windows? I have Game Pass and installed the game, purchased all the DLC. I did have issues installing and running the base game, but after some faffing about I got it to work. However, the DLCs won't install at all. They reach 100% downloaded and then error out.

I have tried all of the suggested fixes for Xbox app - resetting, repairing, uninstalling, deleting, wsreset.exe, etc - none of it makes a difference. The DLC simply refuses to install. I have no issues with the other games. Others have commented in the review section for the game that they have also been unable to run the base game, which makes me suspect the issues lie with Stardock, not the Xbox app itself.

I feel I will need to get refunds soon if there is no fix for this, but I would much rather get a fix.
