Does WinFX need a tweak for Start11?

If said start menu has blur enabled in SkinStudio, it will not animate.

Thanks, yes, but this is a different beast.  I can't get it to animate via WinFX, period.  Is it working for you?

I don't use Start 11.  But it isn't working on the Windows 11 Start Menu.   Works on Explorer windows, Edge, etc.  Not working on first context menu but does work on the secondary one.

Can somebody just look to see if they can animate the Start Menu through WinFX while using Start11 on Win10 please, preferably while using Curtains or WB?  I'd like to know if it's working at all.

i am on Windows 10 with Start11 without WB or Curtains applied now. And WindowFX animate don't work for me.

But, I disable Start11, restart explorer, WindowFX still don't work on Windows 10 start menu. So not sure if its is Start11 issue or Windows 10 recent update issue.

Thanks Basj, a reality check is always good.  This will probably confuse the issue, but when I uninstalled Start11 before doing this most recent Start11 update, I went ahead and installed Start10 again to check it.  WinFX did animate Start10.  Uninstalled Start10, installed the most recent Start11, and it was back to ignoring it.  You might check if you see that as well.

WinFX never did animate the windows 10 menu, if I recall correctly.

I know this is a tad late, but yes, I have Start11 on Win 10 and WinFX does animate the start menu.

Better late than never   

I never did figure out what the problem was, could be some setting somewhere that I never stumbled upon (and I did stumble through a lot of them).  I grew tired of it and put Start10 back on.

I'm not married to the WinFX Start Menu animations but it turns out that every once in awhile I want to date them.
