Did I miss where trading planets and starbases is no longer possible?

Like the title says, I started a new game up and no longer have the ability to trade for a planet or starbase.  It's just gone.  I read through the notes and didn't see it being removed but maybe I missed it? Neither the AI or myself have it listed as an option on diplomacy.

It was mentioned at some point, sorry I don't have a link.  It may have been an unofficial comment, but I expected the option to be gone.

It was changed in version 0.60.  It is in the Balance section.

Rats.  I rather enjoyed trading for those items.  Particularly starbases.  You think theyre gone for good or just a temp balance?  Not sure why the option would be removed completely tbh.

Here, you lovely Drengin!

Have, for 250bc, this fine PQ4 Colony. With Festron Infestment, which, since it's Christmas and all, I'll throw in for free!

The whole idea of planet trading always felt weird for me. I mean, would you like Earth to trade three US states to Mars? So it's something I never did.

With the "Festron eating your people" issue, however, it might be useful...

Not on topic, sorry mikeyjcl, but I'd kind of like to be able to trade Citizens...Another way of dealing with the "Festron eating your people" issue...

This needs to be brought back at least in a limited form. When another civilization creates a colony on a planet in a system where I have a core world, I should have immediate options other than war. Negotiating for the planet is best.

Influence was always my least liked part of this game and waiting dozen of turns and creating cultural starbases to take over a minor colony is tiresome.
