Installation problems on Surface Pro X (Windows on ARM)

After installing Start11 on a Win 11 PC and to make my mind up on purchasing Start11, I tried to install it in on my Surface pro X (Win on ARM) as well, using the same email address as on the PC.

The installation routine completes without an error message, but also without a message reporting a successful installation. After starting start11, I get two error messages at the same time:

  1. With the Start11 window open, Windows reports it would refuse to start the software, blaming either security or performance issues
  2. Start11 displays another window, complaining about an inactive version and suggests to uninstall start11

Thanks!

Joerg

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Stardock product is not compatible on ARM devices.

Thanks

I am sure Stardock is looking into it, but, so far, there is no official announcement on it yet.

Thank you,

Joerg, thanks for posting this, and reply from Basj. I've got an Arm processor too.

Your posts saved me from wasting time trying to figure out a workaround.

Pity it's not supported. Also a pity the installer doesn't say it's incompatible.
