Although I found the above quite funny, I just love the apparent double standard around here sometimes. If a n00b or someone typed the above in all caps, there'd be a good old fashioned burning at the stake...but when a long-standing/respected member does it on this "family-oriented" site it's ok...hey I'm cool with that.

Orion....there's no 'double standard' at all. I believe that even the lovely Miss Chinacat [she of the fonts] had been requested to 'cool it' at one stage.

The only difference is that an old-timer [sorry, China....] may at times 'push' the limits, but the 'noob' has no understanding/experience of those limits and will readily cross the line, as is evidenced by the number of posts that are deleted from time to time, nearly all are from new visitors to the site, even though the 'older member' may post infinitely more, and more frequently too.

To conclude also....nothing in China's post was objectionable, insulting, or obscene.....[gosh....even the spelling was OK]...

Maybe you should re-think your position on this Jafo....It Does in fact appear to be a double standard and normally I wouldn't get involved but since this is a family site And my daughter likes this too I find that post completely Inappropriate....Do I have to block My 14 yr old from Wincustomize for God's sake ????

By the way, What does all this banter have to do with the topic of a Roxio Skin.

Hashonboat....to some, "for God's sake" might be construed as blaspheming. It is often a case of relativity and perception.

Perhaps we should simply leave any and every thread and post unaltered......then compare notes as to what is the appropriate level for proper censorship.

It's a fair bet that at 14 a young person, male or female will know exactly what a 'penis' is and also the reference to 'strap on'.

A reasonable reality-check can always be had with a quick visit to Deviantart.com where the average age is probably quite close to 14.....for a taste of relative language and behaviour....

I don't know if you have children or their genders or ages or what but if you can't respect my opinion that I don't want my 14 yr old daughter reading about that kind of thing then I believe you have a problem. And I think the parents of many of the 14 yr olds who frequent this site would agree.

I think that post should be deleted!!!!!!!!!
