When did you start using Windowblinds?

I can't remember when I first tried Windowblinds. I really never was into skinning Windows. Don't get me wrong. I always thought it was  cool and very imaginative. For years I was a so called, "Power User" so I was always tearing down or getting rid of any unnecessary resources that slowed down my system. Kind of like a gear head for windows. If I could just get a few more ticks on the speedometer or tach I was happy. It was why I went from Windows 3.1 to 3.11 for work groups.  Windows 7 was  the first time I cared less about squeezing every ounce of speed and went with ( lol voice to txt anesthetics) anesthetics namely aeroglass.

I was using "Style XP" for a couple of years until I went from Windows XP to Windows 7.  My first computer was in 1992, and it was an MS Aptiva.  I have been using Windowblinds since I went to Win7 right after it came out.

'aesthetics'  JAFOCHECK

I started using Windowblinds at the beginning.  I think the earliest I recall was version '0.3' ... it was definitely pre '1.0'.  Some of us were finding tricks Neil didn't realize it could do...back when adding 'transport buttons' to operate Winamp was a 'thing'.

That was pre-Wincustomize ....some-when about '99, I think.

The 'good old days' of Skinz.org ...;) [and Deskmod, and Customize.org] ...;)

I started using windowblinds around 2003 or 2004, I too was a StyleXP person. I have always had my desktops themed.

It was 2004 for me.  I had been using StyleXP previously, and some of the themes were good, but ultimately Windowblinds is a far better way of modding the UI and I've not looked back since first installing it to compare the two programs.

Definitely the month I joined WC...4/19/2002, all because I saw Allen Bond's "Capsula", the first GUIC Champ.
