Which capital ship is best for fighting pirates?

Since after such a long time after I posted the post, there was still no response, I assume the answer is this: Every capital ship has advantages and disadvantages. Thus, each capital ship has its advantages that it can play against the pirates, but each capital ship is equally suitable, each, just, in its own way. I have no idea if that satisfies you. Maybe I'll do some tests to get a definite answer. Then I would post it here, of course (unless I want to rule other players and don't want to reveal my secret). fg
