.mesh import?

I was trying to import .mesh models to my 3DSmax and I got into this massive, massive rabbit hole trying to figure it out. I even tried Blender and converters online but nothing made me able to do it, it would seem that the SOTSE .mesh is not the same .mesh as other sites. 

Are there any way to import .mesh models or is it lost? The ones from this forum lead to dead links, websites and such.

Thank both of you! The discord lead me to 3dconverter, so I guess both were right.
