Cannot edit Workshop item despite being creator.

I'm easing back into trying GalCiv3 after the initial release year and was looking forward to updating some of my custom races I had added to the workshop back in the day, however the game is telling me I didn't create them despite Steam Workshop clearly showing otherwise. Is there a way to rectify this or do I need to just copy and re-upload the civilizations post-edit?

You might have better luck asking Steam support it is called Steam Workshop for a reason.  The problem could be a change of e-mail or something similar which Steam can rectify.

Find out which version of GCIII you are playing.

In the Steam Workshop go the ships you designed & upgrade them to that version. If you can not do it go to the modders sub forum either here or in the Steam GCIII forum it or someone there should tell you how.

As far as Steam is concerned I own them. It seems like an in-game issue where, since I didn't make them on this PC, and had to download them from my own workshop, that I'm not the owner. It's fine though, I'll probably just remake them from the copy function and re-upload.
