Sins of solar empire rebellion crashes when launching

Me and a friend were playing with one of the mods for sins however when I went to delete and reinstall the mod and relaunch the game it stated that "An error has occurred and sins has stopped working" when I went through steam to find the problem since that's where I get most of my games it stated that I needed to restart my pc and than re verify the files however that didn't fix it at all.

what's even stranger is the Rebellion (the version I use) is the only game that is having this issue and I have many other games that are modded that don't have this problem.

Nevermind it seem the mods were the problem if any has this problem delete all your mods and re launch the game.
