Wow, I own every windows mod program from here and, today, I can no longer download anything without being a subscriber... \ Spent all the money for each one, not to mention all the skins I have bought for all of them over the past ten+ years. Member Since: 2/16/2007

Still can't download some of Vampothica skins I paid for here as well...

Since vamppothica put her skins back on the market. any that was purchased before that is no longer available to the purchaser. Strange, since some of them were even free at one time.

In the same boat, 271/30 of my DL limit, been this way since OD ran out. Still own most of the stand alone versions.

When I noticed that as a past customer that owns most of the stand alone and cant download without a active OD sub, I didnt bother resubbing. Figured it was just another big FU. Seams it is just a broken system. 

If it is intended well yeah wont be spending anything stardock wise or Master skin wise.

Just to be clear on download limits on WinCustomize.

If you have a current subscription to Object Desktop you get unlimited downloads while it is active.

If you purchase a stand-alone item such as Curtains, WindowBlinds, etc. (not Master skins), then you get one year of unlimited downloads.

Otherwise, you will need a subscription to WinCustomize.

So ultimately you need to buy a product or sub once a year to download from the site?

Well I am out then, FYI, if you are have a issue getting ppl to use and support your products ( and master skiners ) you might not want to chase them away putting everything behind a paywall. I can see the limit on OD subs but on standalone IMHO that is dumb.

Sorry masters I liked your art but I am done. I will still buy skins for the software I already own but wont spend a cent here again, sure it wont hit Stardocks bottom line but when it hits enough masters maybe someone will start bitchin.

 

EDIT: FWIW I have had accounts  under different handles here since '03.

Well SEVERAL YEARS?? ......... Kinda surprised me too. I have what I need and now I can't even download my OWN works. Goofy, but I'm still here.
