Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, It is best if you name the game you're having issue with.

Thanks

Do you use an nVidia card? Might be due to the recent driver. You can try disabling fullscreen optimization in Windows 10. There is a separate bug with needing to enable the hardware cursor.

We updated the support FAQ. You will likely need to disable fullscreen optimization and perhaps use hardware cursor.

Same issue here!

Have owned Sins in a number of iterations over the years, and have never had a problem like this! I've played this game on some serious potatoes, small laptops, etc, so to say that I am disappointed that it doesn't work on this system is a bit of an understatement:

Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
Matisse 7nm Technology
RAM
16.0GB Dual-Channel Unknown (20-19-19-47)
Motherboard
Alienware 0NWN7M (AM4) 26 °C
Graphics
8176MB ATI AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT (Dell)Operating System

When I try to play Sins: Rebellion, the launcher page/window shows up, I hit "play" (yes, have validated all game files) then there is just the dreaded circle infinitely going around and around (used to be the hourglass, remember? lol)

At that point, all I can do is a restart via the Task Manager Blue Screen or a hard power down.

Already cleared the Steam download cache and even re-downloaded the game.

Ideas?

Thank you!

DANGEROUS COMMENTS?

I see this thread on the GalCiv3 forums.  I've noticed Comment #7 and 8 came 2½ years after the previous comment and seemed odd, but there was nothing obviously wrong.  After looking at reply #9 from today, I noticed that it has a comma in an odd place.  Then I noticed that the comma wasn't white like the other characters.  When I put the cursor on the comma, I got a link to a website.

When I checked comments #7 and 8 more carefully, I found they had the same type of comma.

I'm not brave enough to click on a hidden link, so I'm not sure what they do.

Should these comments be allowed to stay?

Hello,

My Game will also not start:

Sins of a Solar Empire

I have tried disabling fullscreen optimization and also trying to hit ALT+Enter once loaded but have had no luck. I have never been able to get it to work. When first opening the app it looks like it wants to start but then does nothing but freeze up the system and I need to use CTRL+ALT+DELETE in order to close it down.

Thanks,
Kirby
