Frustrated

It's so frustrating trying to get the pop idol achievement when it's the last one I need and I can't. I know it's because it's bugged, but I can't find anywhere that I can update the game from. I only have the original game, no dlc's or xpacs, I tried using the update button from inside the game but all it does is take me to a page saying this:

I tried using the gamestop download but it stopped me saying "your connection is not private". Google believes the site to contain Malware. I'm not messing with my settings much less going to a site that allegedly contains malware. I don't care that it's a gamestop website. This site should have it's own patcher as well as the updates themselves. This "official" website is put together so half-assed it's not even funny. Laziness is what I'd call it.

Gamestop games is dead. Their purchase of the Impulse store in a nutshell did not work out well, and they ran it into the ground. You probably don't want to touch anything with Gamestop.

Thankfully Stardock has your back, and if you registered you game, you can download the latest Original Sins/Entrenchment/Diplomacy version from the Stardock Store.

the gamestop download however it halted me saying your association isn't private. Google accepts the site to contain Malware. I'm not playing with my settings substantially less going to a site that supposedly contains malware.

Please read my post above. Do not download the game from Gamestop. Download it directly from Stardock.
