Blur behind titlebar

I'm trying to make a theme with Curtains and I'm using "Replace Default Frames" and a transparent image for the titlebar. Could there be a setting to make it blur behind the titlebar, similar to the options for explorer content blur? This is what it looks like without blur.

I have been trying to implement a blur effect into the title bar to match that of the new file explorer blur.  I have been able to replace frames and stack two images (one layer with a slight tint and another layer with "noise" effect, however, adding a layer with gaussian blur doesn't seem to apply since the transparent layer has nothing to "blur".  Please consider adding the ability to toggle acrylic blur in the title bar (or basic or standard blur) in the same way it is applied to main body of the file explorer window.

As mentioned above, I have forward your request to Support Team for their review and recommendation. I can not however promise if it will be implemented or when it will be implemented.

Thank you,

I just wanted to step by and say that I second this request. It's really weird having blurred explorer backgrounds and clearly transparent title. I hope the dev team fulfills this request

Lot of people are looking at the feature currently as there is no option in Image creation world to create a blur image like a transparent image even when using tools like Photoshop.

This can be done only on Image processing world by Python. I have done it several times but the only problem is due to being dynamic we cannot save it. In transparent every pixel is same so it doesn't cause any issue but in Blur and level of blur the pixel are varied too much to find a stable image. Even moving a blur image with a background takes significant processing power.

Were you looking for blur just on those explorer windows, or all windows?

Specifically the title bars. I have blur/transparency applied everywhere else. The title bars are the last remaining object to not have blur at this time. I have them set to transparent with a slight tint, but would prefer to have either standard or acrylic blur added to the title bar… whether it be browsers, Windows apps, file explorer, etc...

Unfortunately thats unlikely to happen due to OS limitations which means that implementing that increases the risk of compatibility problems by a huge factor.

couldn't it at least be added as an experimental feature , only activated with some hidden setting or such?

I'm sure that if one coder was able to do it for Windows 8, 8.1, and 10 (from build 10240 to 18363.752), you guys could manage.  Computing power doubles every ~1.8 years IIRC.  Windows Vista -- released in 2006 -- achieved this goal.  Again, I'm confident your programmers could come up with something in late 2020.  Something many would pay to get their hands on, but I digress.

I second that notion that with some good coders, a solution, albeit a test build or hidden, could be achieved.  This has implemented for years by individuals using 3rd party apps.  Throw us a bone!!!

Bluring title bars can be accomplished in WindowBlinds. Curtains can blur explorer backgrounds. Can't blur just be added for explorer titlebars? Even if it isn't all title bars, but just limited to explorer, that would be better than nothing.

As mentioned by Neil the main Dev for Windowblinds and Curtains above, there is OS limitation due to compatibility issue. As a Skin designer myself, I also wish this can be done. But, looking at things, if it can be done, it would have be done long ago. We can have blur in Windowblinds since Windowblinds was design differently than Curtains. The WB skin engine work differently, hence it can skin alot more area compared to Curtains. But, Windowblinds lost a lot of compatibility with lot of Application especially those that come under universal application. These application handled better with Curtains, but, Curtains lost lot of area that can not be skin. So these are the trade off.
