SOSE Ultimate Edition has Trinity in it

Was just going to buy the ultimate edition when I noticed it's Rebellion + DLC but also Trinity. Isn't that essentially useless as Rebellion already includes Trinity?

Will there be two separate games in my library now, and is there any point launching Trinity? Maybe its there just for the legacy.

Yes, Trinity is included with Rebellion. There is no need to buy Trinity as a separate entity.
