Does this happen to anyone else with Windowblinds 4.1?

Not sure what your issue is, but you could try right clicking the start button, choose properties and tick "Start menu" instead of "Classic Start menu" and see if that gives you the look that you want.

Try unloading WB. Then, reapplying.

I think we have similar problem, my skin in my botton in the middle part is unskined... .

I tried removing and installing back the skin and the program itself but no luck..

4.1 seems to be skinning the start menu oddly.Pictoratus and I have noticed an a misalignment resulting from a problem with the height of the "more programs"graphics.

It has a problem with skinning toolbar menus. It happens to me too with the Favorites menu in Internet Explorer.

I also format my drive partition where my XP OS and install again and install back Windowblinds 4.0 and tried but the problem is still there. then update to 4.1 but same problem...

this never happened before.. I wonder why..

That looks like one of two things.Either the margins for the graphic are set wrong or the it could possibly be a .tga prob.

yes, you right, I checked the *.wb4 and the link to the image file exists and ok.

infact, I tried to edit some *.wb4 to use the other skin link like using OSXP botton and Tabs, but the botton edges are not clean.

probably because of the use of masking?

this problem only occurs on skins like iSkin and longhorn.

my guess is that only skins with animated botton and Tabs has this problem. since the rest of my skins are ok.

when you mentioned "margins" I thought I might give this a shot. (Changing my desktop resolution)

what I did was I unload skin >
then I set resolution from 1024 to 800 > then I load skin but still same problem >
then I changed 32 colors to 16 bit - now the Tabs bottons and some skins are gone >
then I switched back to 32 bit colors in my 800 resolution - the bottons and tabs are now OK! > then I switched back to 1024 and still fine.

hope this info might help to few someones who has similar problem like mine.

I can't get my other users on XP to skin with Windowblinds 4 enhanced. It worked with the trial version.

Well I had that happen to me as well, you need to disable fast user switching and the account has to be an admin. account, thats the only way I could get it to work on the same version, however, I think you can reinstall the enhanced version on the other account and see what it will do.....Oh and for the thread starter, you are using the classic start menu, need the to switch to xp style........
