[Chapter 3 SCO DLC Mission] No Going Back After this Point?

I'll try to be as spoiler free as possible here (all the while still making sense though). When doing the main mission for chapter 3 in the Star Control Origins DLC's (Syndicate vs. Liberators), I sided with the Liberators up until I break up the in-fighting two races are having with each other; at this point I'm doing what the Syndicate wants me to do (ignoring the Liberators) thinking I'll gain more trust with the Syndicate but then still working undercover for the Liberators. After I find out where the Syndicate headquarters is located I can no longer do the task the Liberators like for me to do and my only option to continue on with the story is to kill Agent 71. I don't have an option to deliver weapons to the one alien race fighting with the other (I talk to that alien captain (don't want to name his race to avoid a spoiler), but I don't get that option to give him the more powerful weapons eventhough I have that as my active objective for the Liberators (it doesn't say completed or failed), and I also have the active objective for the Syndicate to kill Agent 71.

Did I pass the point of no return and I can no longer go back to the Liberators? I'm on version 1.43 of the game. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

As far as I know, no, you can no longer go back to the Liberators at this point. When you tell Agent 71 of the mission you have, the agent will say that you can no longer be trusted and attack you.

Thanks for the reply PRHMro! I haven't continued on with the mission yet since I'm kinda hoping for an update that will give me an option to tell Agent 71 where the Syndicate headquarters is at (because you were told to keep it a secret after being told). Otherwise, if I talk to Agent 71 now, the only two dialogue options I have is "still working on it" and "Actually, we're just going to kill you now." So yea, it's just kind of a one way street now...

(Spoilers?) Yeah, the only way I figured I could go on was kill 71, so I did.  Went on to the next chapter, losing subplots along the way.  Is that the way it's supposed to work?  Now I'm stuck on one of the Scryve's tasks.  (Odd turn of events.) Can't figure out how to examine the black holes over at Kalidana.  Got any hints?
