Disable rollup/down functionality globally in the app

Hi, is there a way to disable the rollup/down functionality globally?

I tried searching and the only thing I found was that I can get rid of it using the option in the settings:

"Do not use per pixel frames even if the style supplies them"

So I guess is up to the skin if it's using this rollup/down function right?

But isn't there a way trough a config parameter of the app itself to not use this functionality at all?

Thanks for help.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Is the issue you having because the rollup/down buttons or because doubleclick on the title bar? If its on doubleclick on titlebar you can disable it in the Windowblinds Setting -> Action to take on double clicking on a titlbebar : it default to "Use Style Setting" set it to something else. If you set it to "Use Style Setting" and the theme is using it as rollup/down. It will rollup/down. If you set it to something else which should override the style setting.

But if it on the rollup/down button. You will need to use Skinstudios and edit each style you using to disable it.

I just find the functionality not needed and I also don't like the dedicated button in the title bar right next to minimize - and by the habit now I'm always clicking the rollup/down instead the minimize which is frustrating.

So if I want to get rid of it, if it's not possible in the WB app, the only fix for me is editing the style right?

That is correct Emmko, it would have to be edited in SkinStudio to remove it.

Well, with us that skin, we're damned if we do, and damned if we don't, if we include the roll up button, some complain, and if we don't add the roll up button, some complain.... I just add it, and leave it at that, peace, and y'all be safe. |-)

Considering some of you Creators gives the option of a Normal and Dark version of your themes, would it be much work to make one that's without a Rollup function ??  Just for those that wouldn't want it I mean, personally I like the function so not to bothered.

Hmmmmm, well, I don't believe SKS (Skinstudio) has an option to have the user add/remove the roll up button, with that said, in my next Master Skin (Emerald Green, release date: next week) I will have a light/dark sub style without the roll up button, for those who don't want it, for those that like the roll up button, you too, will have a light/dark skin with the roll up button, problem solved, thanks for the idea SwedishTom!  |-)

The best would obviously be if Stardock made an full update of the Skinstudio and where able to put in an option to have the roll up function activated or not (if that is possible, but since there is a function that changes the behaviour when double clicking on the titlebar, maybe that would be a possibility).

After all, most people that is using Windows Blinds I think just want to add a skin and change a few settings and then be done with it.  Not everyone goes through it to find out the different functions.  Especially since there is almost no documentation as to what does what. :(

In any case, great to see that you Creators are willing to go that extra mile for those that downloading skins !
