I have enabled audio sharing on the primary and secondary computer. The audio sharing works fine for a couple of minutes then disconnects for a couple of minutes then reconnects. I have disabled my firewall for testing and it still does the same thing. Is there any way to fix the disconnections?

Yes, I've already tried those before opening this thread. The audio is working but it sporadically stops sending the audio for some reason. I notice this happens more often when I'm running an application like a game on the secondary machine, but that might just be a coincidence. Pressing Ctrl+F12 twice to mute and unmute brings back the audio, but then it goes out again after a while which could range anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes. My install is a brand new Windows 10 install and it used to happen on my old install as well.
I'm not sure what else I can try at this point to fix it.

Both the primary and secondary computer are using a wired Ethernet connection.
Does it at all coincide with you losing connection (control) with said Secondary?

No, the video connection and mouse/keyboard connection stays stable throughout. It's only the audio that has the issue.
Is either a laptop with any power options of note (to sleep for example after X time)?

Exactly the same issue here happening on 2 connected computers sending audio to the main computer in the middle. One is a laptop the other is a desktop. It only started happening yesterday. I've not changed any of the settings, so I'm not sure what is causing it to happen. Sound is going on and off randomly and stuttering. Sometimes it does not come back on again at all. Very strange. The connection does not drop though. It's just the audio.

Hi there,
I've just purged and re-installed on all 3 computers. After more testing I discovered It is happening when I play music using audio media players such as Groove Music, Windows Media Player and VLC Player on the 2 connecting computers. If I go to YouTube and play music videos the sound is working without stuttering (using Firefox). Also I use DJ Software called Virtual DJ on one of the connecting computers and the audio is playing fine when sending it to my main computer.
So it seems to be happening with Groove Music, Windows Media Player and VLC Player. Strange thing is all was well until yesterday. I'm wondering if there was some Windows update causing the issue. I did receive some updates yesterday, Windows 10 64bit home edition on all 3 computers.

Just a quick update on this... after more testing it also happens when trying to play Youtube videos with the audio on the 2 connected computers. Audio is randomly stopping and starting. Only thing that seems to be stable is Virtual DJ. No issues using this software.
I got the same issue when I'm watching youtube or twitch I am on cable btw, suddenly the sound disappears so I have to reboot my secondary computer I'm guessing some Windows update messed it up

Rebooting any PC should not be necessary. Try disabling / unchecking sending (wait a second or two) and recheck it:

It seems uninstalling and reinstalling from both the host and secondary computers fixed the issue.

Unfortunately it is still buffering and stopping using the suggestions so it is still not fixed.
Using latest Windows 10 64 bit 1909 version here.
Installed - Re-installed multiple times on all computers.
Tried Port Fix and MP Purge on all computers.
It definitely does not work any more here without issues.
Buffering and stuttering and randomly stopping.
Spent ages testing this and have given up now.
Only thing I can think is now it is due to the 1909 update.
I'm now thinking you may need to update Multiplicity code to make it work with the latest version of Windows 10 - 1909.
It has not been updated for ages now.
As it is now, there is no solid evidence - backed up by more reports - that this is the case; that a Windows update is the root cause.
What I believe is still unknown for you is if you are using wireless or ethernet. If the former, please test with them all wired.

I'm using ethernet (wired) to connect 3 computers using a new Virgin Media Superhub 3. Strange thing is now the computer on the right which is an old laptop is connecting the sound without any issues, after re-installing Multiplicity.
However, the computer on the left which is a desktop is stuttering and stopping constantly. I also re-installed Multiplicity on this computer, and the computer in the middle to receive audio.
The computers on the left and in the middle are gaming computers with Nvidia graphics cards, and I installed a Soundblaster audio card recently to the computer on the left however it was still stuttering before adding this sound card. I bought it to see if that may resolve the issue which it hasn't. All drivers up to date.
All 3 computers are Windows 10 with 1909. I have not installed the latest optional KB4530684 patch as it appears to be causing issues for many people with BSOD and many other issues.
What you may not be considering is that if any PC in the audio chain (the sender, receiver, both) is getting crushed (CPU load), or the network is experiencing very high traffic, this will affect audio.
Some tests where the loads are minimal may prove insightful.

Hi again,
I'm only using 3 computers on my private home network using Multiplicity. I'm not streaming or sharing data continually and the CPU's are all under no load at any time when I'm trying it so it can't be that.
More info if needed - Broadband connection is 100mb - Super Fast.
Computer to the left experiencing stuttering and delay as a sender is using an i5-2400 CPU 3.10GHz.
Computer in the middle which is the receiver is using an i7-6700K CPU 4.00GHz.
Computer to the right which is experiencing no issues as a sender is a laptop using i7-3520M CPU 2.90GHz.
If you swap the sender and receiver, do you see the same issues?

I just gave up trying it in the end.
Spent far too much time getting it to work with 3 computers connected.
Ended up ordering this to try out...
Mini Ultra-compact Low Noise 4 Channels 3.5mm Stereo Audio Line Mixer Passive.
Frustrating thing is it used to work with 3 computers connected using Multiplicity and now I can only connect the audio from the laptop on the right without any stuttering and delay issues.

I am having the same issue with the audio cutting in and out after the Windows 10 update. When I turn off the Firewall (Windows Defender) on the Primary computer the audio comes back on and stays on. When I turn it back on it goes off. I checked the inbound rules and they are set for both TCP and UDP with Local Port set on "All Ports" so I'm not sure why the audio is not passing through. I have reinstalled the software and it does the same thing. I created a new Inbound rule for audio port 30567 but it didn't change anything. When I turned off the Firewall on the primary it worked. Apparently there is something that changed the Firewall in some way so it won't allow audio through. I am using KM mode and keyboard and mouse work OK (but gets confused with typing on the secondary sometimes).
I have both PCs updated to the latest Win version (not Insider - we don't support insider builds) and have no issues with MP audio.
Disable your AV app if not native Win Defender, enable Win Firewall, try this on each box:
