The statement “Really it’s DUH” has too much context and it is incorrectly arranged, perhaps “however, it's duh” would have been a more suitable passage?

I have been accused of being a linear thinker and that is why the passage “Really it’s DUH” is traumatic to my psyche. I also tend to dissect movies when I view them exploring all the incredulous aspects among other things, therefore I cannot sit through a movie without dissecting it and contemplating, what if they did this and why did they do that , in relation to the to the main characters.

Homer, is that you?

But wouldn't that be 'doh!'?
Perhaps he meant doh but could only spell duh...

It's probably a typo and what he really wanted to say was "really, it's dud"

Lesson 1) Never post a thread with a topic that can be made fun of right off the bat. Because we will make fun of it for a while.

How long is a while? I've wondered that for quite some time now. Is a while a measurement of time meaning a lot, a little bit, or just a fair amount? Is it "quite some time"? Because I don't know how long that is either. Or how long this post will take me to write. Probably a while. And a while longer for you to read.

in this case, "a while" is defined as the time it takes for everyone to get bored with it and stop posting to this thread

Ahh, ok. I get it now. That won't be for a long time. But how long? How long will it be? Will it be until I stop posting droning, useless comments, or will someone else come wandering along, unaware of the pit of meaningless, boring messages they will find here in this waste of time and space. Hmm... HOW LONG?!

... It could go 3days old then somebody will find it and post to bring it back to the top of the line. So forever.

I have spent a lot of time contemplating this very same question….what is the definition of “a while.”

some may use this term and say” ill be back in a while” only to return three minutes or ten minutes later, while others might say “I haven’t seen you in a while” this could be anywhere from a week to ten years, this terminology is rather vague.

Therefore the term “a while” is quite ambiguous and it is extremely difficult to extrapolate what the meaning and true definition is.

I opt to let “sleeping dogs lie so to speak.”

Thx. I knew someone somewhere out there must have thought of the same thing. I guess it may be immeasurable, but always refers to the same thing; time. Another subject I won't get onto, the Space-time continuum. Or maybe I will, if I go back and convince myself to talk about it. But then wouldn't I have already seen myself and decided to talk about it?
