I purchased this game via a hardcopy of the collector's edition. How do I know that steam has it as such? All I see is trinity as far as selections go.

Steam doesn't. As far as I am aware, and I keep regular tabs on this game, the collector's edition is several versions back. The Ultimate and/or Gold versions offer everything but also include the redundant Trinity version with Rebellion. You get the best bang for your your money with just buying Rebellion and buying the DLCs except Trinity and the Soundtrack thing.
well, I had to think before replying, in other words even if you purchased the top of the line via Disk, you still have to put out to get the same game via steam. Good going Stardock, you made coin off of me and now you force the owners of that EXPENSIVE Collectors edition to pay more to keep the same game. Capitalism at it's finest
