These responses kind of puzzled me....so let's thin them out a bit . Anybody using WindowBlinds and WebBlinds and the Favorites Menu is skinned, hold up your hand

I don't know why you're going thru Display Properties, but........just open WindowBlinds proggie and load any skin it shows you............

The favorites menu will skin in IE, although there are a few limitations still. There is a colored box around the folders and also you can't change the Mouse Over text color (as far as I know), other than that it seems fine to me

If you're using a different WebBlinds skin most, if not all, will not skin the background or the folder icons. Gary if you know a way around that let me know, cause I've just learned to live with it..

When you open WindowBlinds it should open....well.....WindowBlinds. You might want to try a clean re-install and see if that sorts out your problem

It used to not work for me, when I had Windowblinds4, but now with 4.1, it skins the Favorites menu fine. And I have the problem with WebBlinds and the backgrounds for the toolbars, too. WebBlinds doesn't fix the Favorites menu, either. A lot of problems to fix.

My favorites menu is fully skinned. Mouseovers and everything. I DO NOT have WebBlinds installed and I'm running WB 4.1 on XP Pro.

Currently using Empire by Agneva (incase its a skin-specific issue)

If I only use WindowBlinds, it works fine. The problem is (and I think it's the answer to the original question) if you use WebBlinds it will not work. I use WebBlinds to utilize the different toolbars and throbbers, so I just consider it a trade off........

BTW, no problem........I think me and maybe two other people in the land of Oz are the only one's still using WebBlinds.......

yrag, you should really checkout Y'z Toolbar. You have a much better selection of toolbars...you just can't change the throbber though. http://www.designtechnika.com/main/modules.php?modid=1&action=cat&id=3
