Start 8: How to disable drag and drop

I cannot stand complex mouse behavior. I don't need any fancy gamer-type behavior from my mouse. What I hate most of all is accidentally dragging and dropping a file or folder somewhere. 

I could go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop, and adjust the DragWidth and DragHeight to some absurdly high number, but it would be a lot easier if I could simply disable it completely. There is no option on "Taskbar and Navigation properties" to disable drag and drop. There needs to be a setting in Start 8 to fix that; does that setting exist, and I merely haven't found out where it's hidden? (Also: is v1.56 a free upgrade from v.1.03?)

Sorry to hear you are having issues, but from what I know there is no such option in Start8. But, I have forward your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. But since Stardock is currently on summer break, reply from them will take sometimes. The latest will be by 8th July. We appreciate your feedback and patience.
