Not Working

Dreams do not function

Hi,

 

I've noticed that after the last update that DeskScapes no longer works for Dreams.

When I try to change to another dream: 1: No preview is shown.
                                                                 2: Dream is not applied when selected.

 

I've uninstalled reinstalled deskscapes.
That resulted in NO dreams can be applied at all.
Still images can be applied.

 

I've checked if there were any issues with decoders, but that has been ruled out.

I've also tried the purge batch, that didn't help either.

My machine specifications:

Processor :  Intel i7

Memory : 32gb

System : Windows 10 pro 64

 

DeskScapes info:

 

DeskScapes appears to be activated on this PC

DeskScapes engine appears to be running

Microsoft MPEG2 decoder installed

(Generic PnP Monitor) 1 is attached to Intel(R) HD Graphics 630

(Generic PnP Monitor) 2 is attached to Intel(R) HD Graphics 630

 Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Let's try changing your settings first thing and then report back here.

Use the settings shown in the images below . you will be changing to Direct Show 

there are two options try both if needed .

Also if needed do the Purge one more time https://forums.stardock.com/485954/deskscapes-support-faq#reinstalling

then change the settings as shown.

Hi,

 

I've tried your proposal, with no luck.
If I wait long enough the preview screen will show: No decoder found  for this background

What version of windows ( use winver.exe for this info )

Did you do the purge again with the new settings ?

What version of windows .... use winver.exe to get that info 

down in start in run type in winver 

and post that screenshot here , please
