Put all your zips, skins, etc. on a (data) cd. Copy the zips from the cd to you hard drive (temp. folder) on the new pc (or if it's an .exe just run it from the cd) and reinstall it and then just copy the skins in the respected folder.

You're lucky: I hope I can get everything off mine before it fails. Dunno, sooooo many problems lately . Not being able to boot up recently.

ah, if they send you the new system before you have to send back the old one and the hard drive in the old one works correctly and is the same size, swap the drives and send back the old one with the new drive in it....

Thanks DJ
Thanks lplural

It's my 3rd return in 4 years, i had to put up some fight for this. My Monitor went out 2 weeks ago and Dell sent me the wrong one then my Hardrive started giving me trouble, my soundcard, my DVD and to top it all off my mouse! I did like Dell very much but i think that the parts breakdown to much. Hey DJ if you have a warranty and your system is acting up better call and get some help!

I hope you PC is ok! Thanks for all the help! It's off to saving i go, oh get a load of this. Symantec wants to charge me $6.99 to send me the link again so i can download my AV software from the web! I didn't know they were so poor, i think that is bad business! Heck they are luck i bought it to begin with...No More though!

I'm on a 750 AMD, GeForce2 and the only thing pretty new is my 80 gig drive; warranty is out. About 1 1/2 weeks ago I lost my backup drive with 8 gigs of backups and a cd-rw drive. The cable looked like it was on fire or there was a charge. My pc just suddenly shut down; was having mouse problems.

I'm havin 100% cpu usage problems and recently booted up in 4 bit mode . All these problems with IE and I swear Windows deteriorates.

I just hope I can get everything off before retiring this od girl.

That's cheesy, and doesn't say much for their customer support. Makes me glad I've been using PC-Cillin for years........ I can't see Trend Micro acting like that.

I swear Windows deteriorates.

I think I've read this somewhere before. I'm also starting to believe it.
