Can't play the game, crashes mid-launch

i cannot even launch my game through steam, i have to go to the folder and start the Dev .exe file to "start" it, i'm playing with the mod:

"Sins of a Galactic Empire" and when i start it i get this error:"Failed to find data file "RESEARCH_ARTIFACT_SUPPLY0.entity'. (SubPath = GameInfo)"

I've tried a clean install aswell

i've got no idea on how to fix this

please ghelp me

This sounds like an issue with the mod itself to me and not with Sins. I would recommend redownloading the mod and making sure it is up to date. You can try speaking with the mod makers themselves to get support from their end.

Do you mean the game doesn't work with the mod disabled? Or the mod still doesn't work for you?

sory for the late reply. i Re-install Redistributable Files ( toubleshooting thanks to Schism Navigator) and everything went fine. Maybe someone has the same problem and will help it
