DeskScapes Beta3 - Registered Dreams Won't Run?

I have 3 purchased Dreams with activation key codes - Desktop Collage, Liquid, and Moving Wallpaper.  After installing Beta3, the key codes for each of them were accepted fine but the dreams won't preview or run.  I've been doing the deactivate/uninstall/purge/install for each of the updates, and I've gone back and forth a couple of times, so there's been some activity on those keys over the last month.  Similar dreams, non-keyed, such as Water, Ovals, Expanding Shapes, Snow, seem to be working fine.  I don't know if it's an issue with the Beta3 or if I've overused my keys.

Help?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues.

Check and see if your setting for Beta 3 are set as

EVR Direct Show

Maximized - Background Pausing

If not try making that change then test and see if

the dreams work then and report back .

Also I use the K Lite Mega Codec pk https://codecguide.com/download_k-lite_codec_pack_mega.htm

Reboot if needed..

with all the above done All my dreams even back to 2007 run fine with my Win 10 Home 1809..437

Thanks.  Didn't help though.  FWIW these are dynamic dreams, they're programs that don't use videos.  I do have the K Light Mega codecs installed though.

Since the other dynamic dreams are running ok, seems like it would be related to the activation keys one way or another, but .... ?  (I think those are the only dreams I have that use keys).

Thanks though.

Nope, no change.

I deleted the .bin files so they would prompt me for the keys again, then copied them straight from the My Downloads page "Just In Case".  The registration screens always tell me the registration is successful.

Hmm, it's a pickle.

I can confirm, I have the exact same problem while deskscapes 8 had no problem running Liquid Dream (the paid version of water dream). Windows 10 Enterprise 1809, Nvidia gtx 960 oc and i5 6600k. There's also nothing relevant in SasLog other than startup log for product 2646.

Wouldn't it be great if everything were that easy to find? ;)
