Will Only Let Me Control 2 Computers, Not 3

So I read that you can control up to 9 PCs with Multiplicity software.  I've been using it to control my primary PC and 1 other PC (and foolishly purchased it on both PCs thinking I had to).  Well I'm trying to get it to work on my wife's PC now to control a 3rd, but after adding her PC to my Primary, whenever I try to drag her PC into one of the 8 Grid spots, the PC that was already in the Right Middle grid spot snaps off and goes to the right of the Grid.

It will only let me add 1 of the PCs at a time to the 8 Grid spots?  Why is this not working, I seen it talked about constantly that it can control up to 9 PCs and I can't get it to control 3

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know if you purchase Multiplicity KM, KVM or KVM Pro. Since only KVM pro can have full control up to 9 PCs with keyboard, mouse and video. You can see the version comparison chart at the bottom of this page : https://www.stardock.com/products/multiplicity/

Thanks

Ah so that is the problem, I don’t have the Pro version of KVM.

I will pay for the upgrade of that, but can you just confirm I only need to purchase the $99 KVM Pro version once on my Primary PC, and then I can control the other 2 PCs as secondary for free?

paying $99 is cool, but I don’t think I could swing $300 for a gaming hobby like this

That is correct - Secondary PCs to not need a license.
