Help with Retribution

I installed the Retribution DLC and the only other DLC's I have installed are Crusade and Intrigue. So at first when the game was loading, it would show the retribution screen and I would receive a pop up stating some files were missing. I didn't think to much of it because I had received one of those pop ups after I installed Intrigue but I didn't notice any problems or anything missing really. But now when I start a new game I notice there are problems right away because the new races from Retribution are not an option to select. Well to make a long story short, it is basically missing everything. I played with everything, including deleting the Rebuilddata file, uninstalling the dlc's, uninstalling the entire game and reinstalling the game and all the dlc's as well. Nothing has worked except for one thing and it only partially works. When I uninstall Intrigue or Crusade and run the game, I have the 2 new races from Retribution available for a new game but the game is missing a bunch of things in the research department including the aid research option for planets while some other things missing make the research take too long. I think I will have to try and get my money back for Retribution soon if I can't figure it out as nothing has worked for me on it.
