How to change icons in windows 98?

I would like to change the "new folder" plain manilla folders on my desktop to
icons in windows 98. Could someone tell me how, and where to get some? They
don't need to be a theme, just icons. (like for "my pictures", a snapshot icon,
for "plants", a flower, etc.)
Thanks in advance!

Installing WinXP over win98 will give you new icons...
Seriously tho... Icon Packager works great for changing all icons in one svelt move https://www.stardock.com/products/iconpackager/

I like to use Winboost http://www.winboost.com when I am using 98 to change one icon at a time.

I think Iconpackager is your best bet.

Or he could just get XP... It is getting cheaper for the upgrade version.

Thanks! XP is not a possibility though. Husband bought pro version for desktop.
I just bought 20gb hard drive for my laptop(up from 2gb!) And went from win95 to win98se from
desktop. Can't spend any more $ on it right now.
Any way I could just change a few individual icons?

What I do is put my folder on my hard drive in the c: folder or something like that. Then I link to it with a shortcut and change the shortcut icon.
