Stuck in Hail/You defile/fight loop

I'm stuck in a "You do not belong here... heart of scryve... we'll just be going.... no you won't.... fight....' after the fight, immediately 'Hail'. I can't navigate out because the game is stuck interacting with a ship at the Scryve HQ that never goes away regardless of the number of fights...

How do I get out of this loop?
