Can't play Demigod on Steam

I purchased Demigod years ago, but when trying to start the game it now asks for a stardock account. When I put in my account info (which allows me to log in on the site) it says my serial number is registered to another account. Help, please. How do I play the game I purchased?

Your best bet is to email Stardock Support, they tend to be very good with these things and will have much more access to your account and the Demigod back-end than a forum moderator like me has.
