Keyboard Launchpad - An administrator has blocked you from running this app

Hi,

I cannot install Keyboard Launchpad. It says "An administrator has blocked you from running this app". How do I get it to install?

I have a PC running Windows 10.

Thanks,

Paolo

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I believe that is more on Windows Administration problem. You can try this link and try some of the solutions suggested there. https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/534bead7-f6e7-4575-9074-fbbf072b6770/quotan-administrator-has-blocked-you-from-running-this-appquot?forum=win10itproapps

I still can't make it run on Windows 10. But I was able to install it on my Windows 7 desktop.

However, I couldn't find where to add the registration code. Where can I add the registration code?

I also wanted to verify if I downloaded the right software. The link on the email sent to me had a page not found error.

I downloaded my copy from - https://keyboard-launchpad.en.softonic.com/download

Thanks,

Paolo

Sorry, nevermind. I just saw that there is a link on "My Downloads". I installed that one and it worked.

Well, I ran into the same problem, when I tried to install the trial version of Keyboard Launchpad: "An administrator has blocked you from running this app".

Following the advices in above given links would mean to circumvent all security measures and install this software despite this stark warning! I am hesitant to do this, because Stardock "outsourced" this download to a third party site, out of their control (download.cnet.com). How can I be sure, there is no malware/virus/whatsover in that download?

If you are getting it from us, or CNet, its fine...

In my case starting this software via an elevated DOS-prompt did the trick. Good luck!
