WHY CAN'T I DOWNLOAD SKINS?

I'm also having the same problem..
Tried deleting cookies and clearing out my temp files.. still no new downloads for me
Haven't been able to even preview the last five or six wb skins, let alone download them

Ooh yeah, almost forgot.. I'm also logged in when trying to download so that doesn't work either

Very odd. But I can tell you one reason why:

You've both downloaded over 200 megs of skins/themes from WinCustomize and the system starts to prevent users who have used that amount of bandwidth and are not customers of any of the programs or WC premium subscribers from downloading more.

But it should give you a normal seeming error message.

I'm getting a lot of complaints in the comments section from users consistently getting a 404 error. I have no idea if they are or are not hitting their download limit, but a 404 error isn't a download limit error

Yeah I don't think it's being denied because of downloading that much Frogboy because I can still download skins.. just not new skins. It's very strange.
Plus there's no way I've downloaded 200megs

I just signed up on the site, and I too am having problems viewing the preview images and downloading.

If it is not the problem that Frogboy described then I am sure T-man will fix it when he comed back on monday.

Do you have any idea of the massacre that this incident can cause? We are talking about genocide in here.
I can just picture the amount of computers that have been trown against walls, smashed with sledge hammers and destroyed beyond recognition.

OK. Someone hates me. Sure. I mean, recently I've installed WB 4 and discovered very odd problems with standard buttons. I posted here, read everything here and on the newsgroups and everywhere but there's no cure (and now I'm suppose to buy WB 4, yeah wright!).

Please read what MadIce said.  Please remember that the admins are volunteers and are not here 24/7.  I'm sure that T-Man is enjoying the weekend with his family.  We'll look into it on Monday during business hours.  (the coding of the site is paid for my Stardock, so it happens during regular business hours).

As the previous posts in this thread indicate It's currently the weekend here. Any issues with wincustomize will most likely be addressed tomorrow when people are back in the office

I guess You're right KarmaGirl. I'm sorry for my last 'angry' post. I'm just inpatient. And worried about my buttons problems...

It's weird... some skins are OK now, there is preview, and I can download them but most of them (Navy, Industrial,...) still can't. I hope T-Man will fix it.

I believe the reason is that the authors have reuploaded their skins, allowing them to.. well, work.

There is a server problem and they are working on it. Just be patient and polite, things will be back to normal in no time.
