What do you love most about WC?

I love...

That I can write an admin like DavidK or JAFO and get an almost immediate response to my question or concerns...

I love...that the people who visit here for the most part are kind and genuine and giving.

I love that when I'm feeling a bit isolated and lonely all I have to do is log-on to WC and see my favorite folks there still around...still posting...still up at ungodly hours...

And I'm sad when arguments ensue...I'm sad I created some arguments myself...I like to log-on and see a thread from GM about something cute or funny or insighful...or from Frogboy about his latest trials and tribulations or just to cheer up the board...or Joetheblow's frequent threads about things that 'hit home' sometimes...

I will never question what goes on here publicly again...because oft it is usually handled much better offline and also...this site is a GOOD SITE...people DO care...the admins are NOT evil. Jafo himself proved that by his very kind and forthcoming email he sent me regarding a skin I'm working on.

Out of all the admins I have to give Jafo a LOT of kudos...he's got more patience and care in him than most people do with their own children.

In closing...

What I love about WC is I have a place to share and to care and to connect.

I think that's pretty damned cool.

P.S. And for those of you who might feel I'm sucking up...HUH! I'm the last person to suck up...I tell it like I see it...My skins have never been featured...my walls have never been a top-download but I just start over and try something new and in the end...it doesn't matter. Only fairness should count and WC has been working hard to make it count which makes me ever that much more appreciative...

I remember chatting with BoXXi after my first wall finally got accepted and I remembered him mentioning people cheating downloads and we were both flabbergasted over it but at least now the system is and hopefully will REMAIN fair...

I can't stop writing now! hehe

What do I love most about WC? hmmm...

I guess it's just the place that feels most "homelike". You know you can kick off your shoes, relax, and do just about whatever..

that is, as long as you stay out of certain threads anyway *s*

I saw the thread topic and thought...."what do I like about WC?"

I was lost for an answer till I opened the thread and there it was....the indication that some of the efforts of the 'admins', whether publicly or privately behind the scenes, were showing positive feedback....

/me goes off to answer yet another email....today's varied from nasty, to disgruntled, to friendly....only got the 'friendly' left to deal with...

BTW....'disgruntled'....I guess it means you have had your 'gruntle' removed....

I agree and also know that if I have a problem that I alone can not solve, I know I will get some help here!

I have not been very active on the message-board lately because for the past month I am in the process of moving(I hate packing).After June 15, I hope everything will to be back to normal.I miss being here more often (also miss the *Chocolate Planet*)!!

what I love about wincustomize is the fact that no other software company I have ever had dealings with, not a single other one, has dealt so swiftly with consumer problems, questions, requests, etc in so professional a manner. Where else can you get your question answered by the president of the company?

I have given kudos to Jafo, t-man, frogboy and all the other owner/operator, spanner boys, admins...there is one other groups which I would like to give kudos to again and that would be the support folks. KarmaGirl has been there every single time for me and either fixed the problem or gotten someone else who could. She has the patience of Job and must have a massive headache from pounding her head on her desk so much Thanks to KG and everyone else in the support crew!!

and, of course, all of you folks out there, who make this place really interesting everyday
