I have done that 5 times, no luck, when I installed object desktop it put Cursor on my system and I spent 2 days waiting on customer ignore asking why my serial number did not work on cursor that I got with Object. They could have told me it was not part of that package I bought and I would have not wasted the second of being ignored. I went to the site and found it was a separate purchase required. Do you think the other install is screwing this up it installs all 5 times and works till I reboot????

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. When you said you have done 5 times. You mean, you have done the purge and reinstall 5 times? And it did not work? Did you reboot after you uninstall/purge the CursorFX and reboot again after you reinstall the latest version?

If its still do not work. And your Cursor change back to the normal Windows cursor

Please try the following:

-For Win8/10 Users: Open the Start Screen, and type 'cmd'. Right-click on the search result and select 'Run as administrator' from below.
-For 7 Users: click Start, in the start search field type 'cmd'. Right-click on the search result and select 'Run as administrator'.
-Type: sfc /scannow
-Wait for the scan to complete (this can take several minutes)

Some help on how this looks should you need it:

If the SFC finds errors, but cannot fix them, please also run the following command in the same command prompt window:

dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

The above command should assist with replacing any damaged or problematic system files. Please note, however, since it may require restoring certain files, this process can take some time and you will need to be patient until it has completed.

Please let me know whether this resolves your problem or if you have any additional questions.

Yes I did as I said 5 times!!!! Sometimes the solution to a problem is staring at your face you cannot see through the forest for the trees. I did not try your suggestion, did not need to. I am embarrassed to say after I cooled down after my 5th failure I installed the same download to my other computer to test a theory that the download was not the problem.  It worked. Object desktop is not installed on that machine but is on the computer giving me the problem. That told me it was a startup setting, this backed up the fact that it would run perfectly till the system was restarted. This morning I went to system configuration and for whatever reason something in my system was not allowing the software to mark it as auto start , enabled that now all is well. I have not dug through the EULA to see if it is OK to run on both Systems, most software EULA allows that. The only difference is one is a AMD processor and the other is Intel I-5 both are same version of Windows 10. Sorry to bother everyone.
