So we may have a candidate for life around one of Saturn’s moons.

Looks like we will need to make sure we look closely at this moon for the new Star Control.

There are some very interesting articles and videos at just how terrifyingly it would be if it turns out life is pretty common. Because if that’s the case, where is everyone?

The half-life of uranium-238 is about 4.47 billion years

according to what I've read, I wonder if we would live longer

if we had some small amount of uranium-238 in us?

Nope. You'd live long enough for the first decay and boom...you're done. Think of it this way, 1 gram of U-235 gets you 24,000 KWh of heat. In terms of yield and depending on the method of conversion used, fission being the only one that works for now, a gram would carve out a pretty large hole in the ground with you at ground zero.
